Moose hunting
The king of our forests; the moose or
« orégnac », the name it bore in the time of Jacques Cartier.
- You will have 6 days of hunting and the possibility of coming visit your territory beforehand.
- You will have a territory of approximately 25 square kilometers exclusive to your group.
- Comfortable covers are positioned in strategic places.
- Saltworks are built and maintained year after year.
- Mountainous terrain and the great forest fire of 1991, which left 35% of the outfitter to regenerate deciduous trees, made it a prime habitat for moose.
BEAR HUNTING
- About thirty sites fitted out and baited on a regular basis ensure that your chances of harvesting a large bear are excellent.
- No camera, no defined length of stay, no guide on site.
Small game
- Over 130 km of paths and trails to explore on foot, by bike or with an all-terrain vehicule.
- The great forest fire of 1991 which devastated 35% of the outfitter created a regrowth of young deciduous trees, which made it a favorite area for grouse and woodcock.
- Throughout your stay, there will be many encounters with grouse, hares and woodcock.
- All our paths and trails are maintained and cleared to allow you a most enjoyable hike.
- Hunting dogs are welcome.
